Frex they have recently been installing traffic circles here in place of 4-way stops. Rule is quite simple, give way to the driver already in the circle, just like give way to the driver at the 4-way who arrived first. We were out on errands Wednesday and had it not been that Bell taught me to believe that every other driver is an idiot out to kill me we would have been T-boned twice, once at a 4-way and once in a circle.

I hate those damn roustabouts, for them to work correctly you have to have faith that the other guy will stop.

And I don't, which makes me a menace to society whenever I'm in one. I stop for everybody.

But I don't trust stop signs, turn signals, or traffic lights. I obey them, but I still basically watch out for the other guy.

Funny, I talk to Florence when we are out in the car, no cop ever stopped me. I don't take my eyes off the road though. Driving demands your full attention, and anyone who believes otherwise is a barking idiot.
