Not all Bikers are Thugs...Some "Baptists" are as bad as ISIS...

I doubt the two events were on the same day, but, I wonder if any of these guys went to Phoenix? I'd say some did....

Hmmmm. In one case they were protecting the solemnity of a church service from disruption by hateful bigots. In another, they were participating in a hateful armed demonstration to interfere with the ability of Muslims to worship in peace. I see a venn diagram where the circles don't cross much at all.

Regards,

D-Ray

Maybe some of the WB members hopped on a bike to travel to Phoenix. That's their schtick.

I see most Southern Baptists (And more than a few Northern ones) in that circle. The only difference is that ISIS is free to act out on their religious aggressions and our would-be Theocratic tyrants are restrained by a Secular government.

Thank God and Thomas Jefferson for that.

Patriot Guard Riders are some of the best folk I have ever met. There were several from both Oregon and Washington at my son's service.

Here is a captain handing my wife a memorial coin.

They appear to be very good people and true patriots, Marc. I'm glad they were there for you.

And the Captain looks like a very cool dude!

I am not sure how old that video is, but ironically, the PGR was originally established in Kansas in 2005 to protect deceased veterans families against WBC members protesting the services. They have grown a bit since then. They were founded by motorcyclists, but you don't have to ride to be one. I don't think I have met one that doesn't, with the exception of some wives that ride as passenger. Unlike some folk, as a group they don't care about your race, sexual orientation, or political preference.
