So, police officers should be allowed to brutalize and deny medical attention to those in their custody? On the spot judge, jury and executioner?

Yeah, I'm thinking any officer who refused to respond to a call for that stated bullshit reason should be canned. And, if his union defends his actions, they should get disbanded as a menace to public safety. (I know, I know, but in this situation I really do think that.)
