I'm a pig too.

But then, I'm not running for president, either.

What kills me is the fact that I now sit and listen to people who whined for years about Clintons Oval Office fling now defend Trumps behavior as if it's nothing at all. Trump himself tried to claim Hillary "enabled" Bills philandering...................

THAT took one hell of a nerve. So, tell us, Donald; Who enables your piggery, you Putz?

Blaming Hillary for Monica is sort of like blaming the victim. Trump will lose millions of women if he continues in that vein. Nobody has a perfect marriage, and someone with three marriages like Trump should hardly cast stones at others. I would never bring up marriage or divorce if running for President because there are millions of Americans who have divorced and remarried.

I don't mind couples being proud of a happy, successful marriage. In fact, as a man who's never been able to maintain a relationship for more than a few months..........those people are an inspiration to me. (Although, I do have an ex-girlfriend I still talk to on an almost daily basis and occasionally meet for dinner or a film after ten years.)

The World Values Survey of 2011 included a stunning figure. It found that 34% of Americans approved of “having a strong leader who doesn’t have to bother with Congress or elections”, the figure rising to 42% among those with no education beyond high school. It’s worth reading that again, to let it sink in. It means that one in three US voters would prefer a dictator to democracy. Those Americans are not repudiating this or that government, but abandoning the very idea of democracy itself.

These figures reinforce a pattern revealed by recent academic research that shows a body of US opinion predisposed toward liberal democracy’s polar opposite: authoritarianism.
Also enjoyed a flash of wit later, as the writer commented on Blair's and Clinton's pragmatism by saying 'what works' didn't work.
