Update - another officer has died.

"Three members of a U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force were fatally shot during a standoff Monday while trying to serve a warrant in Charlotte. A Charlotte police officer died hours later from injuries he suffered during the incident. Four other law enforcement officers were wounded, and the person they were pursuing was killed.

The task force members were attempting to serve a warrant for possession of a firearm by a felon when they were met with gunfire at a Charlotte residence, police said." WP

From where I sit it looks like the Second Amendment is a suicide pact.

This will be swept away lest it be used by Libs to take away people's guns.

There is no solution. The gate has been left open for too long.
What a f**ked up society...everybody armed to the teeth.
Prayers for the officers and their love ones.

Just last night on the national evening news a story of our fellow countrymen caught in the Turks and Caicos with live rounds in luggage.

Now facing a mandatory 12 years in prison. One of the wife's was it seemed blaming the us for not catching the ammo before they left...

I got a suggestion, don't put ammo or guns in your luggage.....or know how to count when unpacking....

Have zero pity for the ones in jail, now leaving their kids and wife to face the next twelve years without them. Expecting the government to bail them out. One they more then likely have made plenty of disparaging remarks about.

""The U.S. Embassy in the Bahamas issued a warning to travelers in September about a law that strongly prohibits possession of firearms or ammunition in Turks and Caicos, an overseas British territory southeast of the Bahamas that is a popular vacation spot.""
