Yep. And it's because too many people don't care. They are more worried that supporting predominantly black ("inner city") schools will somehow drag their precious suburban offspring down.

Of course segregation is on the rise in the south. It's full of people who think, "Race mixing is Communism" and that federal judges have no right to tell them how to run things ".....'round these parts."...................

Insist on greater emphasis on states rights and you will see more of this. I think that's pretty much a given.

Just look at the percentage of the white vote that Obama got in the various states.

It paints a pretty stark picture.
