I'd say Republicans are more like "corporate sluts" than "corporate whores".
A Democrat that sells out is a whore, because he's taking money and favors. Payment for services rendered, in other words. Sluts give the booty away, because they like it when the big man bends them over and shows them who's boss.

Or, maybe they're voyeurs? They like to watch as the bosses screw the little guy, then pat them on the head for staying out of the way?
