What color were you turning? If you wouldn't let it go for 5 months it might not get so high.

Mine never changed. In fact, I got on the budget plan, so it was the same all through the winter. Last month; $120.

Wooo. It's the end of the fucking world. Better start voting Republican and put an end to this tyranny....................

What did you do, crank up the heat and leave all the windows open?

I don't do budget billing. Between the gas for heat and electric for AC I like to keep an eye on the actual usages. Like having a month or two when neither one is used.

By doing this I found the pilot light for the gas fireplace was costing $17/MONTH!

Think how much easier it would be for you to pay it if they raised the minimum wage.

I move from one house in the neighborhood to another one. So basically the same kind of house. The difference is the new location has a majority of gas appliances. But I moved here feb 2013 an my bill was around $140, this year it was $340. Nothing changed other than PG&E getting sued and fined last september for the San Bruno fire.

My opinion, case in point any cost incurred by a utility company will be passed onto the consumer.

I also feel ass checker is blowing smoke that defies logic. For that he can check his own ass.
