I got curious....

printed in China.
Here's a pic of the stuff on the right corner of my desk.

I figure the yellow pencil is the only item from China there. The phone, which I value because when you call customer service it's really handy to have a handpiece separate from the buttons, is an ITT item that's dated 1988. Sharpies say 'made in USA,' and that deck of cards is over 30 years old, and the Ace says US. Playing Card Co., Cincinnati USA.

But they'd likely be right if I was some yuppie....

I still have a phone that looks like that, only it's red.

I'm getting ready to start reading a book...something like "a book worthy of burning" or something like that. It's a 2014 new release, historical fiction, and the B&N only had one copy. I cannot find it on the intertubes.....

I am so glad that shit never took hold in this big city.

The city has come long way from hard drugs. However for some
reason heroin has invaded its surrounding white neighborhoods such as Long Island.

My daughter is engaged in a Maths/Teacher degree course and sometimes calls on my assistance
in some of the Science subjects, but as usual the history of any subject fascinates me.

Reminds me that I should finish the "Breaking Bad" series.
