Steve Wynn, RNC finance chairman and Donny pal, sexually harassed employees for years, per the WSJ.

"... dozens of people The Wall Street Journal interviewed who have worked at Mr. Wynn’s casinos told of behavior that cumulatively would amount to a decades-long pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Wynn," the newspaper report said. "Some described him pressuring employees to perform sex acts."

They needed someone with no morals, and Jerry Falwell Jr wasn't available.

Should be fun watching all the excuses the Repubes come up with for NOT returning Wynn's money, after they screamed for the Dems to return Weinstein's. Shoe's on the other foot now, Repubes. Considering Repubes have completely lost their moral compass, lots of excuses forthcoming, no doubt. Fox "News" will think of some way to bury the story. Emails!

"Republican National Committee (RNC) finance chairman Steve Wynn is stepping down from his post following sexual misconduct allegations, according to a Republican source familiar with the matter.
"Today I accepted Steve Wynn’s resignation as Republican National Committee finance chair," RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said in a statement obtained by The Hill.
The RNC's statement Saturday, first reported by Politico, was its first response since allegations of sexual misconduct involving the casino mogul broke the previous day.

Wynn issued a statement on Saturday, saying he was resigning in light of the "distraction" created by the allegations.
"Effective today I am resigning as Finance Chairman of the RNC. The unbelievable success we have achieved must continue. The work we are doing to make America a better place is too important to be impaired by this distraction. I thank the President for the opportunity to serve and wish him continued success," Wynn said.
GOP officials came under pressure to respond after The Wall Street Journal reported Friday on the allegations against Wynn, which span decades, from employees at his properties.
The Journal reported that Wynn reached a $7.5 million settlement with a manicurist who worked at his Wynn Las Vegas property who said he forced her to have sex with him. Other women reported multiple other instances of inappropriate touching or comments." The Hill

Thanks to 'Deadbeat' Donnie, the whole corrupt house of cards appears to be imploding.

'Look what Trump has done to a once-proud party'

"For decades, the Republican Party was known for defending free trade, insisting on constitutional strictures, preaching civic virtue and family values, and articulating a tough international posture, the latter especially during the Cold War. If you now are a sincere free trader, believe in not just originalism but the ethos of the rule of law and care about ethical propriety, human decency and a no-nonsense stance toward an aggressive and oppressive kleptocracy in Moscow, the GOP isn’t much help. Too often it is an antagonist, not a protector of the things you hold dear. On each of these issues, those who believed the same things they did in 2000, in 1990 and in 1980 are alternatively mystified and angered by the willingness of the GOP to shed its beliefs out of fidelity to President Trump." J. Rubin

Well worth reading.

Like most candidates running for Congress, Arthur Jones has a campaign website.

It outlines the Republican candidate’s education background, his stance on issues and how to donate to his campaign to represent the Illinois’s 3rd Congressional District.

It also lays out Jones’s unapologetically racist and anti-Semitic views.

In a section called “Holocaust?” Jones describes the atrocities as a “racket” and “the biggest, blackest, lie in history.” Under another tab titled “Flags of Conflict,” he lists the Confederate flag first and describes it as “a symbol of White pride and White resistance” and “the flag of a White counter revolution.”

And in his most recent blog post — dated Aug. 24, 2017 — Jones railed against “Radical Leftists” and blamed them for starting racial violence in Charlottesville about two weeks before...

Despite his views, Jones is all but certain to become the GOP nominee for one of Illinois’s most prominent congressional districts, one that includes parts of Chicago and several suburbs to the west and southwest.

Sounds like one of Trump's "nice people."

Finally, a SCOTUS ruling requiring that the extreme Repube gerrymandering be set right, in time for the midterm elections.
