Old West Roxbury boy here, mezz, and a proud grad of Roslindale High (now an old folks home). Know the area a little bit. Aunt of mine lived in the projects on Old Colony Blvd. Uphams Corner was supposedly named for a great uncle of my late mom's. Apparently he was cop who directed traffic there.
