I heard from him over at AK. For some reason, he's having trouble signing on here. And yes, he was working some OT as well. Miss that ornery cuss, do ya?

A good column. It seems today's GOP supports no one other than today's embodiment of the robber barons of the late 19th century.

I'm starting to believe in the concept of a parallell universe.

Instead of commanding, Obama seemed bossy. Rather than inspiring, he came across as hectoring. This is partly because Obama was trying to be something he’s not. He is not a pot-banging politician but reflective and cautious. Rather than quell the emotional disarray born of fear and resentment, he pounded the drum of class warfare. He shouldn’t expect to see white flags in response.
Good grief, the cool calm collected Obama argument. Yeah right! He came guns ablazing, back of the bus, we won partisanship. He comes off bossy because he's an arrogant narcisistic elitist. He played class warfare and
alienated the opposition.

As we reflect on the events of 10 years ago, it would be nice if all sides could resolve to invite America’s better angels back to the huddle. Another terror attack would put things in perspective, all right, but our survival ultimately depends on our willingness to marshal reason and restraint against the emotional terrorism that surely will bring us down.
I have no idea what she means by "emotional terrorism." Does she think that the attacks caused American's to act differently towards one another and that another terror attack would bring us together?
