And people wonder where I get the notion that Republicans think they are appointed by the Almighty himself to rule. If you press your ear to the track, you can hear the crazy train coming.

If you think about it, the ancients did the same thing. The Pharaohs, the Greeks, the Roman emperors, the European Divine Right of Kings, and other rulers relied on a supernatural boost for their authority.
