Shows weakness to the Rooskies, the Norks, Iranians...Also shows a lack of resolve & that we're not to be trusted in keeping our word to the Poles, & the other Eastern Europeans...This could have ended up helping the Russians one day, if the Chechens had gotten missiles & decided to lob a couple at Moscow...Guess we'll never know now, will we....

Talk about one of Bushs biggest foreign relations blunders. Really is no different that the Cuban Missle crisis. I am surprised the Russians didn't push back harder than they did on this.
