Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus.

I know this for a fact as he always sends me my present in January. It's a Discover Card statement.

Oddly enough, I don't have much use for modern secular Christmas music like "White Christmas" or "Sleigh Bells" (Okay, maybe "Sleigh Bells" - except for the lyrics) even though I'm a secular kinda guy but I really like the old, old carols with more or less religious themes.

I remember 30 yrs ago, when I still drank in beer joints, I'd put a dollar in the jukebox and play Elvis singing "Blue Christmas" over and over again.

Took some pretty vicious cussin' over that trick. Right up there with Kenny, when he'd take his bottle and knock everyone's beer over in their lap.

We used to have fun...30 yrs ago.
