Trump 2024, an Impending Trainwreck

Trump is to be holding his first 2024 campaign rally in SC to launch his bid for the presidency. And lets not take his desire to be #47 too seriously, its only to keep him out of serious trouble and MAGA is just a ruse.

Except in SC there is the ever present Nikki vying for the same job, Tim Scott's stock is rising, Pence is effectively running interference with the evangelicals and Trump waterboy Lindsey doing his best to drum up some excitement. While all this jockying is going on in the foreground, the real hurdle for Trump is his ban on FB. His fundraising at grassroots level will be severely impacted if his suspension is not revoked, but will they? The two year suspension ended January 7th and it seems they are still mulling things over in Metaverse.

If FB does not roll over, I see a lawsuit coming. And if he can stall on the various legal cases (think he will have a tougher time stalling in GA), he can be formidable if not unbeatable in the 2024 Repug primaries. I will bet that FB will reinstate his account but keep him on a short leash, and we all know how well that will work.
