Thumbs up is currently watching on frozen planet...

And he is thinking. What a crock of chit!

Not only has the planet warmed and cooled many millions of times. If science is to believed.

But now that man is on the planet , with all his many carbon inducing technologies, it is now our fault?

what of all the other times it has happened? The polar bears were burning too much wood? The penguins were using too much coal? What? The sun got too warm? How the hell is that possible, its like 93 million miles away! What effect does it have?

Crock of chit if ya ask me.

With out even a basic understanding of science an answer to your post is pointless.

The Earth has gone through many changes in billions of years. That includes a complete shift of the poles. Many factors contributed to the changes.

It is our turn now. I suggest you read Thom Hartmanns "The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight"

http://www.amazon.com/Last-Hours-Anc.../dp/1400051576

We could learn a lot from the Iroquois League and that ain't no chit.

I like how they think (and have some math to back it up) that before what became part of the moon hit the earth it had 4 hour days - the other direction. And the axis was straight up and down.

The earth will do largely what it wants. Our only contested claim to any kind of terraforming is that maybe we accidentially produced enough co2 through all of human endeavour to maybe start warming it slightly.

I think it's actually that a huge asteroid hit the earth and knocked a big hunk of it off and that that became the moon.

Yeah, almost shattered the planet. Good stuff. In a strange horrifying way.

i didnt want to watch it. But i was for some odd reason captivated by it...When they weighed that polar bear. The host ppeared hopeful to find it under weight. Then when they found it to be of normal weight. He started saying that if it was under weight and not healthy. Then it is our fault. Im sure bears get ill for other reasons then what the host was trying to interject.

Apologies if my first post up there appears argumentative. I was under the influence.

Instead of chit i guess i should have used the word poop.
Needed to vent. Seemed like a show geared for the global warming crowd. My stance on it is obvious.
wgrr i will bookmark that link. Funds are scarce at the moment. thanks.

That can be arranged.. I hear polar bears think people taste like seals.
