Poor slob McCarthy want to be Speaker again. And as long as any House member can initiate a motion to vacate, McCarthy may be the first ever speaker to get booted out twice.

Shameless that he is, he will probably expect the Dems to help him get reelected. Or he will blame them if they diss him again.

“Whatever the conference wants, I will do,” McCarthy said during an interview on Hugh Hewitt’s syndicated radio program when asked about a possible return to the job.

At a news conference after his removal, McCarthy stated plainly: “I will not run for speaker again. I’ll have the conference pick somebody else.”

Circus is back in DC and the fun begins this evening, except this time they are going to select a speaker behind closed doors. Why not save the aggravation and let Faux decide who their next Speaker should be and of course, its Jordie.

BTW statesmanship has little to do with debates. Statesmanship refers to the quality of management.

Statesmanship has everything to do with all the qualities the members bring to the job, which includes their behavior in the halls of Congress. The "openness" we have in the Congress right now is a half step from "go fuck your mother."
