But, Finn. Don't we have a constitutional right to giant, oversized, luxury vehicles and gluttonous overconsumption? Wasn't that one of the founding principles of our Great Nation? It is my right as a True Patriot to drive to the corner 7-11, a grand total of 1/8th of a mile to get a Slurpee and 'tater chips! FREEDOM, FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know he spooked me.
I've come to completely disbelieve, even resent, anything in the political arena that uses fear to drive its point home. More times than not, if fear is used to support an argument, it's because the facts won't.

Remember, however, that it is at least as much a function of increased life expectancy as birth rate. When we were an agrarian society, we had a much higher birth rate, but a much lower life expectancy. The pressure comes from both ends of the life cycle, but that doesn't mean we are going to create death panels. We're just going to start making everyone retire to the coal mines.

Regards,

D-Ray

A simple but profound question, I should say.

Problem is; What do you do about it? Sterilize people? Good luck with that.

Nah, once man has screwed himself out of a place to lie down how will he get his mate preggers? A knee trembler in the nearest doorway?

Subsistence farming, the fastest growing job opportunity in the 21st century.

The greenhouse may become the latest fashion statement.
