And Willy Horton wasn't blatant race baiting?
This is selective outrage.

No!

I was looking for photo to get my point across of someone trying to tackle someone. Arms out and head down charging and being the agresser. That photo led to an artical for HS football

However it reminded me of Brown and the store owner in the robbery vid.

No your point was loud and clear on a couple of threads here.

We, on the left, should do a way, way, way better job of communicating that police misconduct based in racial animus is not the only police misconduct that concerns us. So far, on this forum, we're doing a pretty piss-poor job of that.

And when a few of us hereabouts try to point it out, what we mostly get back is hysterical frothing from the usual suspects.

One bad player in all of this is Sharpton. He is uniting the Ferguson incident with the one in Staten Island.

Wittingly or unwittingly he is bringing Ferguson to New York City with on up
coming march in Staten Island NY which will include Brown's parents.

A man who certainly knows how to throw fuel on fire.

Lets not forget the Media fanning flames this gives them a store to cover 24/7. It also pulls the bad focus off Obama and all the other important thing going on.

It fits even better to the non-linear progression of aimed fire during an ongoing struggle if you leave them down, especially considering how scads of apologist testimony related to his hand position has been completely discredited by virtue of no professed entry wounds in the assailant's back.

The autopsy does NO SUCH THING, with a professional caveat being summarily offered by the family's forensic expert detailing that he lacked sufficient access to all evidence available at the scene. Furthermore, there are (metaphorically) ten billion reasons why residue may not show up starting with (yes) the most simple: being outside the distance of what is typically considered a close range.

Oooohhh, did your spine tingle at thinking you may have -- finally -- made some sort of an actual point?

WRONG.

Do you know what an intermediate range gunshot is for residue? About thirty-six inches depending greatly upon the caliber, barrel length and powder type used in the ammunition. So, we could be at thirty-seven inches to not have residue or there could have been an intervening object (clothes), severe handling post gunshot, heavy bleeding or some other means of a lack of trace evidence.

Sum?

THIRTY-SIX INCHES DOESN'T MAKE YOUR POINT RELATED TO IMMINENT DANGER.

Please, start talking about anything you may know about? Seriously, I'm sure there's lots of stuff.

This ain't it.
The bottom line is that nothing in this autopsy report can be used to refute the eyewitness testimony that Brown was shot from a distance of approximately 15 feet after he had stopped, faced the officer and put his hands up.

As for the rest of your post if you want to talk about the effects of caliber, barrel length, powder changes, bullet weight, bullet type, burn rates of various powders, or guns in general we can do that as I have a fair to middling knowledge of such things from having reloaded thousands of rounds of ammunition myself over the years, owned a number of guns and spent a fair amount of time shooting at ranges. But lets do it in another thread because it is not related to this case.
