Iv seen her and The Watersons 10 -12 times over the years. I dont like Marty Carthy hes arrogant and thinks that if he doesn't like a new folk band it isn't folk. Idiot. Norma, his misses and Eliza are very nice like the majority of folk singers, band members here. I been to to a few folk festivals for the last 25 years.

Been playing out in the garage, digging through stuff I found the Columbia reissue of the last of the Louis Armstrong Hot Five's, these sessions from 1928. There is a St. James Infirmary on this. No, not the famous AK Fest one Ray would play, that from 1937 I also have, only the second session I know of, or rather have a copy of. Not that I have researched it at all.

This coming weekend we will see Jeff Beck with Buddy Guy.

The week after that, we will see Asleep at the Wheel.
