Andrew Breitbart dead at 43

Andrew Breitbart died, likely of a heart attack, at age 43. I know a lot of you don't like him, but he did offer a counter to the left leaning Media Matters.
Media matters had this to say:
Quote:
Media Matters, the liberal watchdog that was a frequent Breitbart critic, said the organization’s “thoughts and prayers are with his family today.”

“We’ve disagreed more than we’ve found common ground, but there was never any question of Andrew’s passion for and commitment to what he believed,” said Media Matters’ Ari Rabin-Havt.

I appreciate the example set by Media Matters. Probably prevented me from saying something that I would later be ashamed of. I feel for his family, it is hard to lose a father.

PS: props to you, BH for showing something that shed a positive light on MM.

Regards,

D-Ray

No one should revel in his early, untimely death. At least, he had the fire in his belly. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I never heard of the guy but dying that young is a tragedy no matter what your politics.

It seems that angry bitterness is bad for the heart.

+1.

Once he's in the ground, I'll be back to tell you what I really think.

I remember seeing a sig line at AK to the effect that carrying resentment is like poisoning yourself and waiting for the other guy to die.

Occasionally, one gets lucky and it appears to work, wouldn't you say?

Definitely a sad day for conservatism. An honest man who put his money where his mouth was, and feared no one.
