3 Reasons Why Good So************************m Defeats Bad Capitalism
There are three reasons why good so************************m (which the President is proving he is unable to deliver) defeats bad capitalism (which Republicans are perfectly offering).
Capitalism is not a political system, but an economic one. Jude stated, “The distinction is extremely important, for it frees supporters of capitalism from having to defend it as a caring or compassionate institution, which it is not. It is coldly mechanical.” The problem is ‘free-market’ advocates think capitalism is a political system and through rationalizations and justifications for the single-variable profit pursuit deny one of Jude’s best insights, “What must any system accomplish? At the core, it must provide a method by which its smallest constituent unit, a household, can save the surplus of its day’s work for the day when it cannot work.” When millions of Americans could not work the Right had nothing to offer that would speak to this reality- in economic contraction, the daily output of Americans is not sufficient to provide for illness, accident or natural disaster. There must be a system of either risk-pooling and income distribution, the question though is whether it is paid for by taxation or bond finance. President Obama realized this but his solution is proving to look like something other than he promised and potentially at a greater cost to freedom than the electorate bargained for.

Do you have any original thoughts or do you just post provocative pieces about worn-out, disproven ideologies?
As to the premise that good soci@lism beating bad capitalism, that's kinda like saying that a good case of syphilis beats a bad case of the clap.

Originality isn't the actual problem, of course. (Originality is both very hard, and seldom liked when it shows up.) The problem is the S-word. You think you know that means, and you're agin'it! But actually there are a million varieties. And I know you don't know what this piece is talking about, because the ***** thing broke this link too.
Here's a link that works!

I read it. What a bunch of claptrap. I can buy into a northern European social-democratic model, but this guy tries to sell "a soci@list system that is working well is one that is fully deploying the nation’s resources through a central plan that has the approval of the people." Where exactly has this ever been implemented, other than in the delusional mind of this hack writer?

Which disproven ideologies? Which one is wrong and where is the alternative. I'm listening.

I once wrote a lot of original stuff when I was unemployed but now working anywhere from 40 to 60 hours a week, it is a bit hard. I do still write mostly poetry and that kind of personal stuff.
