Bring Back Our Girls

I have seen and heard the story of the abduction and the related killings of male students in other attacks. I'm just at a loss for what the answer is for stopping the attacks by the fundamentalists. The US could send in troops but to where? We have very little intel or other countries willing to help.

I want to think race is not involved but Africa seems to be a forgotten continent as far as the native people are concerned by the more powerful countries.

Unless they effect the flow of natural resources or expect fair payments.

I have to wonder sometimes what will it take for the US to act like this. We are not immune to being just like the rest of the world population. Hate and desperation is all it takes. We already have plenty of hate that just needs a little nudge of desperation.

Someone had better come up with a rational plan to straighten this out. That someone wouldn't be me, at this second....

Here's my rational plan. I suspect with the surveillance technology this country has, that it's possible to figure out where these hairbrained fanatics are keeping these girls out there in the jungle. Once the girls are out of there, hopefully they will be out of there soon, we incinerate everything and everybody in the neighborhood. We also have the smart missle/bomb technology to put one right in this crazy motherfucker's ear. If they start killing these women, then we put one in his ear right away because that makes it clear that these women are all going to end up dead anyway.

It's the only way to deal with militant religious or ideological fanatics. We already know it, we've known it for a long time, that dead is the only thing that makes them stop. Learnt that from the Jews...from the Spanish Inquisition, to the Holocaust, right up to today.
