Gun Control and Politics

Is the Orlando shooting a catalyst for sane and safe gun control or does it just feel like things will be different this time because of the upcoming election?

This soon will be old news until the next mass shooting. Start all over again the arguments....

Hope I'm wrong and we will get sane adults working together on a solution.

If Sandy Hook didn't spark a reevaluation of the 2nd, I doubt this will.

I dunno if the FFs were too shortsighted concerning technological advances and too naive about the trustworthiness of their heirs, but the 2nd as written has become problematical in light of firearms becoming an poorly regulated oversupplied market commodity domestically supported by mystical bullshit.

This is becoming a drill.

At least the gun nuts have tired of repeating their ridiculous talking points, which is a welcome relief. I don't think this means they're relenting for a second, but I've only been reminded that guns have nothing to do with mass shootings 2-3 times this go around.

It's mostly just "F^^K YOU!", now.

Haven't you heard the latest? 2A rights is to protect our 1A rights.
This way the day after another mass killing, we get to bitch about lack of gun control.

Saw Turtleman and Cruz on the news last night spouting the same old BS. Turtleman has his head in so far he must open his mouth to see.

Both rights are being abused to the point where we as a society will have eventually rescind them or risk totally failing.
