The Ronald Reagan Library Debates

Will it be a bloodbath with all the Repubs ganging up on the frontrunner Trump?

Keep an eye out for this ad during the debate.

There was a joke making the rounds when the Reagan library opened about a tragic fire that had consumed all three books, including one he hadn't colored yet.

Such a perception of Reagan led to the left underestimating him big time.

I don't think it was he who was underestimated as much as the movement that installed him as their figurehead.

The left did not believe that Reagan would be able to sell the movement goods to the public.

Avuncular Ronnie did a great selling job. Up to now lefties cannot understand what hit them.

That old Borax salesman fooled a lot old Democrats out here in California, my aunt and uncle being two of 'em.

Family Christmas at Aunt Peg's, the family matriarch, was never the same after that one.

Great summation from the link above:
Quote:
As for the others ... Ted Cruz is expected to keep trying to position himself to siphon up Trump voters if and when Trump craters; Rand Paul needs to do something to make himself relevant, but picking fights and yelling at people obviously didn't work last time around; Mike Huckabee will show off how truly evil he is on issues of equality; Chris Christie is and will remain irrelevant; Marco Rubio keeps waiting for his moment to emerge as the new establishment favorite, but it just isn't happening; and John Kasich is likely to continue quietly and calmly positioning himself as Rubio's chief competition on that front.

Because that's what Ronnie was; A master salesman. The guy could sell the public dog shit convincing them it's gold............

A sign that this debate won't be a fawning Faux News debate? I may tune in.
