I agree with this. Voting against Hillary because she's a woman is idiotic, and the opposite is equally ridiculous in my opinion, but I'm afraid I've met more than a few people who are doing the latter.

Bernie's platform and political history make him a vastly superior candidate. However, like others here, I will absolutely vote for Hillary in the main event, if that's what it comes down to - and I still think it will.

This is pretty much me as well, Bernie appeals to me but none of the 'Pubs or their platform appeal.

Just to be clear.... I recognize Hilary's shortcomings and would not consider voting for her (or anyone) if I didn't think that was the best person for the job.

Herein lies the dilemma, The GOP has swung so far to the right to fanatical proportions and taking most of their candidates with them not named Trump, that there is no one viable. There may be handful of reasonable and qualified people there but they are a the mercy of the GOP billionaires and/or fear the extreme wing in their party. The GOP billionaires simply put are taking advantage of the situation handed to them and not necessarily working on a grand plan other than gaining tax loopholes. Picking the pockets of the very people that are fanatically worshiping them, sort of like a monarchy. Well they are king makers except there is no real king.

Democrats on the other hand do not have a viable candidate having squandered their capital on HRC. And running out of time as Biden ponders and he is no savior either considering his age and baggage.

I also want to note that my comments above were certainly not aimed at you Barbara.
