Eminent Domain Pipleline Hypocrites

Remember the Kelo vs. New London SCOTUS case where Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, etc., etc, were having a cow over the 5-4 vote allowing the city of New London to condemn Suzette Kelo's property in favor of a new mixed-use upscale housing development in the depressed little community. Goddamn liberal do-gooders violating the sovereign land rights of American citizens.

Well looky here...now we have the Harrington sisters of Bradshaw Nebraska who have decided they do not want the Keystone pipeline cutting a rift through their farm. They are part of a group of 12% of Nebraska landowners who have decided they do not want the Keystone on their property. The Harringtons, along with several other locals, have filed suit to stop the pipeline from going through their properties. I'm sure we all know what Hannity, Coulter, Malkin, et. al., think of the Harrington sisters...wealthy liberal land barons and such.

And in a related story about how safe oil pipelines have become:

Traces of Montana Oil Spill Are Found in Drinking Water

Just some benzene coming out of the tap...nothing to be alarmed about, eh?
"Federal officials have said short-term exposure to the water was not dangerous. But residents near the spill found the water undrinkable."
The government in the pocket of big oil? No way!
