The insurance companies opposing the healthcare reform are not trying to promote a free market; they want to retain their power to manipulate the prices consumers pay for insurance, and the prices they have to pay for medical care. Unfortunately, it looks like they killed the repeal of the antitrust exception yet again. Dammit!

Sorry to go OT.

You really can't blame the healthcare crisis on the insurance companies alone.

Myself, if I can't fix your problem, I won't bill ya.

Suppose I'd starve to death as a doctor. At least wouldn't be driving a Mercedes.

Let's see, by the time the next presidential election happens, Ron Paul will be 77 years old. Would I want my country being run by someone who would have reached mandatory retirement age for most people his age 12 years earlier? He's even older than McCain fer cripes sake! No, me thinks not.

Hey, at least Ron Paul had the stones to appear in "Bruno"!

"Get me the hell out of here.....I dunno, he's some kinda faggot, or something. Just get me out of here."

Anyhow, there's still plenty of time, but so far the GOP well seems to be comin' up dry again. We shall see.
