Austin Tx Plane Crash

Just heard this on fnc-
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,586581,00.html

right after it happened f.n.c. was reporting that the plane crashed into a building that housed the local f.b.i. offices, among others. they repeated this portion a couple of times. a few minutes later they realized that the plane had hit a different building, not the one that housed the f.b.i. and they had to change the story.

the 'impression' i got from the f.n.c. anchor re plane hitting the f.b.i. building was that he/they were disappointed that the f.b.i. wasn't in the hit building. maybe it would have indicated a terrorism connection, a connection that they could lay at the feet of a certain u.s. president. but it wasn't to be. so far.

like i said, an 'impression', no validation.

edit- now f.n.c. anchor or a source is speculating that the pilot may have targeted the local i.r.s. offices, in the same building or near it, instead.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that if you were able to turn on the TV in his house today that it would still be tuned to Faux News. It'll be interesting to hear the Wingnuts distance themselves from this guy they inspired.

Well, to be fair, he is one nut job. Could just as easily be Sarah Palin ranting about Bill Ayers. It just makes me wonder if more and more of these folks are getting *so* worked up that we'll see more domestic terrorism from the far right. I really hope not. The rhetoric has gotten a bit out of control. I hope some of the leaders on the right will step up and admit that taxes are historically low and they've been lying to people to get votes.

I'm guessing not. Sounds like he was no fan of Bush either. This does all sound very familiar.

How does this quote from Stack's web posting strike ya?

"It has always been a myth that people have stopped dying for their freedom in this country. But I also know that by not adding my body to the count, I insure nothing will change."

He sounds like a real "Patriot."

He's a nut, all right. But he sounds more like a left wing nut than a right wing nut.

I'll let you draw your own conclusions.
