Perhaps the tide is turning.

Al Qaida makes a misstep:

Many educated folks over there see them exactly as they are. Maybe the local folks are learning.

We can hope, Pete. People tire of violence, especially when nothing ever comes of it but more insanity.

Also those monsters from Nigeria had a terrible effect on my wife and daughter with their announced intent to sell the girls into slavery.

Fairly incredible that they disavow the attack afterwards. There were a lot of resources used, lots of personnel. No way this was a 'rouge' operation. The disavowal was just due to the reaction they got.

Turning to the Nigeria case, the government there should fall in reaction to their inaction in the wake of that incident. They should have passed out 10,000 rifles and had the world's biggest posse chasing those guys.

Corruption, Don. No doubt the Nigerian government is full of terrorist sympathizers.

I saw this AM that the terrorists holding those girls is demanding ransom.

My take? Pay them, then wipe them out.

Draw them in, then kill them.

Sounds good to me.
