I don't have a problem with storytellers requiring a certain suspension of belief as long as it's not disruptive to the narrative, however it seems to be standard practice for politicians to expect us to grant them a suspension of reality. They don't get that from me.

White Reindeer.

http://www.netflix.com/WiMovie/White...trkid=13641907

This movie was a trip.

It's what I would call a dark comedy.

I get tired oh watching movies that feel like you've seen them before because you have seen so many like it.

This was different.

I suspect people will either love it, or hate it.

I loved it.

Plus I'm in love with the actress that plays the main character.

She is awesome.

"Easy Rider" showed up on TV last night. How could I not watch?

Isn't it amazing how movies that were so acclaimed back in the 70's seem so dorky today?

(see Billy Jack)

The thing I find most interesting is how we (I) regarded the Fonda and Hopper characters as heroes and were outraged by their death at the hands of a couple of Florida rednecks. I mean, sure, the rednecks were despicable, as were the ones who killed the Nicholson character earlier in the film but heroes? Shit, they were just a couple of drug mules. That didn't seem to bother us back them.

I never liked Billy Jack because he looked like Tech Sergeant McDougal, one of my Drill Instructors from basic, and I hated that SOB.

I'm re-watching Breaking Bad. I'm finding it's even better second time around. Gus and Pinkman are my favorite characters.... Just finished season four.
