What's with tRump's she-doctor, the one that hovers over his left shoulder. Blinky I call her. Those eyelids blink so much I thought she might be sending out Morse code. If you watch her when she speaks you'll notice her sending out subtle "believe me" visual clues. The nodding when she says something she wants you to believe something she says. The head tilting/eyebrow raising towards who she's speaking to and into the camera. Little stuff like that geared to garner trust. Whenever I see someone doing this my mind goes OK, what are you selling?

I used to laugh at the stupidity of evangelicals, gun nuts and the like before tRump, figured they were harmless ignoramuses in backwards states in the Bible Belt. Really had no idea just how harmful their ignorance could be to the country. Social Media has empowered them, perhaps beyond redemption.

The astonishing ignorance shown by a couple of posters here, and many over on AK, is disheartening. I fear greatly for our democracy.

We used to think TV commercials brainwashed people.It's clear that modern social media leaves TV totally in the dust, when weaponized for this purpose. I'm not sure why this is so, but I see that it is.
