Beggar's night has come and gone here. Didn't see a Trump, and saw a lot fewer kids than usual. More nervous parents this year?
Highlight of evening was a pretty young girl, maybe 8 or 9 years old. Had a fancy white wide-skirt dress and her hair all done up. I opened the door and gave her a friendly "Hello, Princess!" She lit up like Broadway! It was super cute!

We don't get them here. It's literally too creepy after dark to come here. Before dark in twilight isn't much better, but we are used to it.

I always have Tubular Bells playing for the trick-or-treaters. We went through around a dozen bags of candy. We have kids from other neighborhoods come in - safe area and close to an elementary school.
