I don't believe the general election was rigged.
Hillary was for status quo, Trump campaigned against the establishment.
Hillary was not well liked, Trump even less.
But Trump had a message that got an audience, Hillary had no message and no audience.
In the end, the squeaky wheel got more attention and won in states that mattered.

I agree with all that except for the first sentence.

These are factors that enabled Trump to overcome the rigging.

All the very least I don't see how anyone can objectively say that the mainstream media didn't have it in for Trump and pulled out all the stops to try to demonize him. That, in and of itself, constitutes rigging IMO.

Now whether or not there was actual ballot box type rigging, that's hard to prove.

Yes the main street media such as NYT, WaPo and CNN favored Hillary over Trump, and they were also for status quo. Voters in general rejected this. That is not rigging, not like the Clinton campaign paid these publications to take a pro-Hillary stance.

Inadvertently unintentionally or by accident the media by giving Trump all the free coverage because of his outlandishness's. Tilted the primaries in his favor and so the general.

Mr Trump is very savvy on the use of TV media and the majority of over the air consumer.

If you guys would just flog that dead horse a little bit harder, I'm sure it'll leap up and St. Birdie can mount up and take it across the finish line.

I thought the media was supposed to at least keep up some semblance of at least the illusion of objectivity. They did not IMO.

Media now is mostly owned by large corporations and their primary objective is to look after their own interests.

Who is flogging what horse Bob?
Your godess lost as predicted and now you are the ones looking desperately for a scapegoat?
Hill is NFG without Bill, you think she would have won/held any public office if her last name was just Rodham?
Next time back someone with personality and talent.

And Barney is right, Trump effectively gamed the media and the vultures bit.
