I think I'll be looking to retire out of Cali. We have a beautiful state but it's over populated.

It took me forever to drive across town (SF) today. Every few blocks construction city and privet. If you get slow down there it seems like a building boom here.

Lot's of good work here though. It's turning into 50% of the residents are the 1%ers. They build houses and remodel which keeps me busy.

Much like the one deer I've bagged. Foggy night, stupid critter tried to get away by running straight down the road in front of me.

Less damage, deer motivated down into a brushy ditch. Cop had to clamber in after it and finish it off.

So much for gun control, at lest in our hands

We just need to keep them out of the hands of all those other nuts.

Yeh, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Sandy Eggo isn't helping matters. Over 1000 CCW permit applications in Orange county alone and our county sherriff wants to start handing them out before this bs is settled.

I don't have any problem with recreational use of firearms, I just don't think it's safe to let every paranoid asshole with the dough to buy a Sig 9 to run around strapped. Keep 'em at home if y'all want or need to.

I've seen them selling overgrown carrots and such to feed to deer, in Michigan. That legal in MD?

Still seems to me that the way to save the rhododendrons is to fill them upon other stuff....

You can feed deer on private land in Maryland, but not on public land. You would need astronomical amounts of food to feed the deer herds around here. The ideal carrying capacity of eastern deciduous forest is 20-30 whitetail deer per square mile. There are places around here with 150.

How about a thread where we all tell everybody else to go start another thread?
