If the GOP loses, they will likely say it was because Romney wasn't conservative enough (even though he will have lost to someone more liberal than himself ). In truth, Romney will likely lose not because he would make a bad President, but because he's a dreadful candidate.

The circular firing squad will be highly entertaining though. I can't see the moderate wing of the party winning the post-mortem debate because there really isn't one anymore.

That's what they'll say and they'll be partly right but let's not forget the Republican platform. As atavistic and out of touch as it gets.

The way I see it, Mitt's the boss. The GOP leadership needs to have a nice sit down with the brain trust and tell him to shut up suck it up and take it like a man, or swim with the fishes.

Btw, definately Mr Howell

And we all remember how well that strategy worked with the Mama Grizzly.

Apparently a satire piece which, without intending to do so, provided a test for gauging how dumb some members of the electorate are... (hint: Some of you failed).

If you actually read the article linked you would have also read:

[Author’s note: Jonathan Swift did not really want Irish people to sell their children for food in 1791; George Orwell did not really want the clocks to strike thirteen in 1984; Paul Ryan, I am sure, calls Mitt Romney something more dignified than “Stench” and Microsoft did not invent PowerPoint as a means to euthanize cattle. At least I am pretty sure Microsoft didn’t.]

This is very, very, very true however,

Quote:
“I hate to say this, but if Ryan wants to run for national office again, he’ll probably have to wash the stench of Romney off of him,” Craig Robinson, a former political director of the Republican Party of Iowa, told The New York Times on Sunday.

I'll try again.

Here's a different clip of the "Ryan! Ryan! Ryan! Ryan!" fiasco from Morning Joe. It's followed by what can best be described as a post mortem of the Romney campaign. Clearly, Scarborough and Brzezinski think it's over.
