I am glad McCain is not at the controls right now...I guess we would have ground troops in Syria fighting ISIS who had stolen the weapons we had given the "moderate" rebels. I guess compared to ISIS Al Nusra is moderate?


Since Turkey and Western Europe are closer to to the Caliphate they should do something about it? Or Saudi Arabia? Maybe Putin can gain some redemption by stepping in and stopping ISIS.

They might at that. Their first problem, though, would be all the citizens of color. It would take a fight to subdue them, and that would mobilize the North against them again.

Actually I would say they did rise again.

Starting with the end of reconstruction.

And they got a big boost when the Republicans started their "Southern Strategy"

Basically white southerners now control the Republican Party.

That's given them a lot of Political power for the past 30-40 years.

However that is coming to an end with the Demographic changes.
