Yet another defeat for 'Bagger nation. Maybe there is a God after all.

Wanna know a secret..? I am a self-proclaimed bagger and didn't want this law to move forward.

But the real dirty little secret is that there were probably just as many Dems in support of this law as baggers

I doubt that very much. Pretty much nobody but hardcore bible-thumpers supported this law, and there are precious few hardcore bible-thumping Democrats. They know better.

Look at the vote totals in the Arizona legislature for SB1062. Not a single Republican voted against it and not a single Democrat voted for it. Coincidence, I suppose.

When people from the far right are accusing liberals of being homophobes, it means that being a homophobe is a bad thing. Having those on the right recognize that it is a bad thing to be a homophobe is progress in my book.

It's not a bad thing and can be understandable when heteral sexual are not used to intermingling in the LGBT community. Thats all it is really is and it doesn't mater which party you vote for.

I think Homophobia is just that a lack of experience and knowledge of the people. Maybe even a fear of what if?
