The Amerikan Gestapo Can Do Whatever It Wants.

I'm guessing the hot dog vendor isn't letting the incident bother him much at this point.

As an aside.... in a cash and carry business, in California, what the cop did was legal no matter how wrong it seems.

How is this not an abuse of authority?

That's what's wrong with it. Many police forces are using this "Law" to feather their departments with luxury cars and cash. Confiscating money and property that never gets returned even when no charges are filed. Those in power always end up abusing it, you can count on it.

RICO asset forfeiture has to be a violation of the 5th and 14th Amendments. Which is only one of many reasons why maintaining The Constitution as it is may be the greatest hypocrisy in the history of the country.

Arguing in court over what the founders really meant? Fucking really? This is how law in this country is maintained? Get rid of it.

Arguing in court is a damn site better than having no where at all to argue about what TPTB want. Courts have frustrated Trump considerably.

I'm not saying no Constitution...just not the same Constitution we've had for 230 years. We need a Second Constitutional Convention. The document we have isn't working

With the gerrymandering that is in place now, and the wingnuts in control of several state legislatures, do you really want to give the folks who control the political process a shot at reworking the Constitution? In my view, it would only multiply the problems.
