I was in Best Buy the other day and found a James Dean 3-pack for $9.99.
James Dean, his face is next to the word "angst" in the dictionary.
"East of Eden"
"Rebel without a cause"
"Giant"
Great additions to my classics collection.

Black Hawk Down: I like this movie for its fast paced action, and its drawing of the close brotherhood of the members of US Army Rangers and Delta Force.

Finally watched Birdman last night. It was pretty good. Can't figure how they gave it the best picture Oscar though. Not when there was The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything, and/or Whiplash.

May have been the innovative convincing hallucinatory stream of conciousness first person story line melding reality with illusion with indistinct borders between the states. Michael Keaton was perfect for this role.

Could be. I haven't seen One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, how'd that one work for you?

Had the wife sit and watch Out of the Past (1947) today. She seen the similarities with Against All Odds rather quickly then was surprised with all the differences. We both enjoyed the film.
