I think the Biden/Palin debate was draw with a slight edge to Biden because of her evasiveness. But declarations from Biden that "Iraq should now be partitioned into 3 countries" are FAR more dangerous than seeing Russia from the deck at home. I can even see Obama sweating every time this guy gets near a microphone.

Somewhere, I just got tired of this NOT being a fair fight. Yeah Dave, Colbert took a valid shot. That's why he's got my respect. But the press is lazy, ignorant, and foolish and I'm not goin' to give THEM a pass either when the punch is below the belt.. And the partisian pile-on where when they are corrected about facts and history -- then go off and criticize her PERSONAL life and parenting skills. You can have that debate if you must. Palin is a moron and does nothing in a calculated manner that makes any sense at all

she is governed by emotion and impulse and is clearly powerless over these characteristics

to make matters worse she is vengeful in a childlike petty manner and has a deep set need to not take personal responsibility

I posted that after-battle account of General Gage (that's here somewhere) and got THIS REPLY from one of the very elite , most informed, Palin Attack Force..

......, note that you are using the letter of a British soldier, writing AFTER the battle , in an attempt to explain WHY there ever WAS a battle in the first place! Keep in mind he was also trying to COVER his own butt as well. Also keep in mind that he had NO desire to let his superiors know that Revere had gotten PAST their lines and was able to warn a substantial part of the local militia, right under their noses! It's kind of funny and kind of sad that you have to resort to using the letters of the opposition (read: British) to try to prop up Mrs. Palin.

The press absolutely loves Palin. It has nothing to do with political bias. She's the trainwreck that keeps on giving. They'd do the same to a liberal figure as well. There was plenty of debasing and snickering reporting going on about Clinton and Monica, or NY's own Spitzer. A juicy story is better than politics any day. Palin is a juicy story AND politics all rolled together.

And make no mistake. Palin absolutely loves the press. Sure, she'd love positive press, but she loves negative press even more because it gives her a chance to play the victim, to blame the east coast liberal media elite and rally her supporters. It's a nice symbiotic relationship.
