We were headed in that direction 30 years ago as I have a translocated chromosome....got pregnant by taking meds and now we have 3 kids....grown up and moved out....

Hey....I'm about to go to the steakhouse so I don't have all day....but, I believe Life begins when the 23 chromosomes from Mama and the 23 chromosomes from Daddy (preferably different families, Tom) are fertilized.....the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals can kiss my ass.....(after they brush their teeth)....

During the process of an in vitro fertiization procedure, many eggs are harvested and fertilized. After the blastocysts reach a certain stage, one of them is selected for implantation. The rest are considered medical waste, much like your brain, and are incinerated.
Are you okay with this? If so, why.
And, if so, wound you be comfortable with having these used for fetal stem cell research and treatment prior to incineration? If not, why not?

Well, well....I didn't know that the eggs were fertilized....if life begins when the egg from Mama and the sperm from Daddy, meets and begins the process of producing another separate human being, then I'm not for invitro fertilization....
