SCOTUS irrelevant?

So, according to this balloonhead, the Supreme Court does not have the authority to decide what is constitutional......

http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...urt/?mobile=nc

I thought this was the entire point of having a SCOTUS? I wonder if he would feel the same if the court was stacked with conservatives?

Regards,
Dave

If you lose the argument, lie.

Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) is an idjit. I knew more than he does when I was in 8th grade. Funny how the interviewer, Ginny Thomas-the wife of Clarence Thomas, didn't correct his peculiar views.

How do these idiots win office? On the other hand, IIRC, didn't some from the left hold similar positions regarding the SC's ablity to declare legislation unconstitutional?

Depends on where his campaign financing came from, eh?

Who on the left was saying that the Supreme Court was powerless to decide constitutional issues?

His argument will never stand up in court!

Kinda proves a point, you don't need a brain to be a elected official. Gets in the way of facts you know. Just someone with deep pockets to finance you.

He is an Okie what else can I say. However, nowhere in The Constitution is SCOTUS given the power to make such decisions as Citizens United (which by the way is simply a front and does not really have a bunch of members). Or that the First Amendment says money is speech, no more the it says bribery aka lobbying is also covered by the First. The simply fact is that fluency in English is not one of the qualifications to be appointed to the Court.

Come on get with the 21st century. The Earth is a flat disk, and not a sphere.

Geez, and I'm the one who lacks logic and common sense
