I've been using those exact words recently. People would have been inspired by him and rallied behind him in a way that Clinton failed to pull off, and I also think he would have done far better in the debates against Trump. I cringed watching those debates because I felt like she should have destroyed Trump but just never managed to break through, and I completely disagree with the general consensus that she "won" all the debates.

I wrote in Joe Biden, in effect voting my conscience. I truly believe that if everyone did so, we simply cannot be manipulated.
Vote for Hillary because Trump is a monster is not that persuasive, if you point to what, better explain why. The Hillary campaign failed in that regard.
