You may admire disguised insults, but if slight rhetorical fig leaves make insult OK, then why the horror at Sen. Warren reading insulting denunciations from the record?

Even if she was technically in violation of the rule, it was bad strategy to invoke it. Now, instead of her message reaching some Senators and the few people actually listening to Senate floor debates, it's reaching millions of people.

As one article said, they took away her mic and gave her a megaphone.
