This doesn't make me feel safer, does it for you? What is wrong with these people? Rhetorical question...
A lawyer did the same thing (on a smaller scale) in a New Haven movie theater. Had his pistol in a holster openly displayed and then refused to cooperate with police when they arrived.

I'm starting to wonder if we need to psych evaluate every gun purchaser/owner. It is too damn easy for the crazies to get their hands on firearms in the U.S..

I realize that most gun owners are not crazy but I think my family's and friend's right not to be shot trumps any 2nd amendment argument. This story and the one you mentioned Beej are alarming, to say the least.

The very last thing I wan't to have is a drugged out vigilante sitting behind me in a dark movie theater, fantasizing that he was some sort of self appointed superhero.

See here's where it gets to be nuts in my opinion. The individual right to privacy coupled with the individual right to bear arms trumps the right to live. Seems rather simplistic but that's exactly what it boils down to.

It sure is strange Beej. The right to live doesn't count once you are born in that wild and wacky world of neo conservatism.

OK, I'm up for beer and pizza as a last meal just before I take my wife to see Batman. Got it.
