My point about the mentally unstable with a gun was used to poke holes in the gun nuts who use this argument. To distract from the need for meaningful gun controls. Anyone who would even consider shooting another person, whether one like this today or the many at schools all show a mental illness.

Personally, I was hoping for Charleston.

Wolf Blitzer keeps saying that the shooters had long guns "like AK-47s", making sure that he plants the Muslim seed deep in the narrative.

AK-47's have nothing to do with Islam and I doubt that was his intent (and I'm certainly no Wolf fan). The AK happens to be the most widely used weapon of war ever, and nearly 20% of all firearms in the world today are AK's. They're manufactured in over 30 countries other than Russia where they were developed.

I think you're reading into what he said. I've just tuned in to CNN and the reporter said the police had reported "AK-47 type weapons." Another witness inside the shot-up building heard ~30 rapid fire shots before an apparent reloading pause. This indicates to me some sort of assault weapon, of which the AK is the most common.
