It looks like the Kansas based company, Black and Veatch, did have a $21 million contract to operate 12 biolabs in the Ukraine.
https://www.rfi.fr/en/international/...propaganda-war
Mostly they research animal diseases. (Like SARS-CoV-2).
It's quite possible Putin is closer to the truth on this one than the Biden administration.
The Wuhan lab in China was also funded by US interests, IIRC. Probably still is.

Biden administration/US government run
Quote:
The State Department said Ms. Nuland was referring to Ukrainian diagnostic and biodefense laboratories during her testimony, which are different from biological weapons facilities. Rather, these biodefense laboratories counter biological threats throughout the country, the department said.
Mr. Rubio made the same clarification in another congressional hearing on Thursday, noting that “there’s a difference between a bioweapons facility and one that’s doing research.”

Biodefence means they 'breed' the viruses in order to study them.
The Spanish Flu virus is kept alive in these labs, along with the Bubonic Plaque.
Not necessarily the labs in the Ukraine, no one has stated what they have on hand (so to speak; routine hand washing recommended).
I know we kept Black and Veatch from building a lab at Kansas State University because of fear something would get loose.
Anthrax is nothing compared to something contagious.

Lest y'all think I'm on Putin's side now; blowing up nuclear plants and biolabs is NOT prudent at this juncture.
He's an idiot, and evil.

Putin's armed land grab invasion gamble was about the last thing the worldwide economy needed after the covid disruption, and will only make things worse.

Trump Offers to Help Russia File for Bankruptcy
https://www.newyorker.com/humor/boro...for-bankruptcy
PALM BEACH (The Borowitz Report)—Donald J. Trump has reached out to Vladimir Putin to help Russia file for bankruptcy, the former U.S. President has confirmed.
Calling the Russian economy “in very, very bad, terrible shape” as a result of Western sanctions, Trump said that bankruptcy was “quite frankly” Putin’s only option.
“Bankruptcy is scary the first time you do it,” Trump said. “But once you’ve done it five or six times it’s the easiest and most beautiful thing in the world.”
Trump said that “the first thing Putin should do is stop paying his bills, and that’s something I can show him how to do.”
The former President also offered to send his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to Moscow to advise the Russian Federation on bankruptcy.
“No one can get you into bankruptcy faster than Jared,” Trump boasted.

And this is how Donnie will be the GOP pick in 2024.
The prosecutors walked out on his criminal trials. The civil courts won't even phase him.
His slogan will be "You can't get Blood from a Turnip".

This borrowed from AK:
This guy: It seems that lots of Ukrainian Farmers are making off with Russian tanks and other pieces of war machinery. Lots of videos. Good ol' John Deere green appears to be the go to tractor over there too!
I'd like to see, after hopefully Russia getting booted out, is seized Russian tanks painted John Deere green with Ukrainian colors painted on the sides.
