Btw, I caught this on RT news, Russias' state news show.

They don't hesitate to bash the US (heck they love it), they love stuff like this. They had Ayers on a while back.

I believe it is legitimate criticism. Constitutional requirements are sometimes inconvenient.

It does tend to show how difficult it is to try to govern from the center. Some of those who are most passionate about issues are on the wings. I'm sure it is difficult to stand up to the pressure he has received as a result of this issue. However, he asked for the job, including all of the slings and arrows that come with it. What was that headline that came out after the election - "US gives black man the hardest job in the world."

Regards,

D-Ray

He did want this crap job, agreed, and it's hard to deal with reality when your constituents aren't

That's all of us btw. But being a Senator he should've known 2/3 of his bs was bs. That isn't change!

Pete, we're agreeing on a bit too much. I'm feeling kinda sick; what's your excuse.

I think the ACLU's criticism is entirely justified, perhaps less so with respect to the delay in closing of Gitmo (a difficult task it seems) than for the wavering/caving on the trial of KSM in Federal court. Both of these issues demonstrate the success of the cynical fear-mongering about the incarceration and prosecution of terrorism suspects.

Overworked and cranky

Discussions about policy differences generally don't get me too worked up.

My big problem with Obama is, he lied lied lied, um, I mean oversold everything and he knew it when he did it.

When those kids that everyone was so happy that they voted, when they figure this out they'lll never vote again, and who can blame them?
